Vendors are moving in, the main auction tent is being prepared and things change on a minute by minute basis.
Did we mention cars, cars, cars?! They are beginning to show up everywhere. One minute you look and you see something you haven't seen before, then you turn around and you think to yourself, "Holy Crap, where did that come from?!"
If you take a moment to think how large this site is and imagine every square foot of it changing minute by minute, you can imagine that every corner you turn, you see something new..... It really is quite amazing!
Here are a few photos from today that DH was able to capture while helping the vendors move in and handing out site map drawings to all who needed them.
It has been raining here in the valley for the last few days. It was great to see the sky open up and let us tend to our duties without getting soaked!
DH grew up around the time of the Monkee's and has the matching die-cast car. It was great to see the actual car in person.

OMG just how much can those two smile!!! I am sure they have never seen anything like this. I ran into a construction worker who is from Phoenix and can't wait to go home for the auction. He works for Richie Bros. Seem like a dream right Tom??? We are soo happy Charlie and you can enjoy your first auction together talk about brotherly bonding. Love you Miss you both TNA

cars, cars, cars... too bad you guys aren't having any fun. Sheesh! Prior to you talking about B-J last summer, I had never heard about it before. And so now, I'm tuning into channel 33 here, checking out last year's video spots, knowing that the sale will be starting today. How can you sleep at night knowing that there's so much to be done AND with all the excitement buzzing?
Meanwhile, we are enjoying temps this week during the day of 19. 20, 11, 5 and 0 by Saturday wth lows of -7 to -18 by Saturday night. Great. Can't wait. The Saturn has been firing up every morning, though so I can't complain! Please send up warmer temps!
DH and Ali are heading to Kansas on Friday for a soccer tourny along with some select team mates. They will be home sometime on Monday. Miss Grace and I will be hangin' out here trying to stay warm and keep the pipes from freezing! I will look for you two on the tube! Miss you both!
