Merry Christmas Everyone!!

Well, here it is our first Christmas away from friends and family. We won't lie, it was tough!! We got through it with phone calls and web cams and it was nice to see and hear familiar voices again.
Most of you will laugh to hear we went and found a pizza place for our holiday meal. It was a place called Famous Ray's.
We've never eaten there before and drove past an open grocery store and found the pizza place only because numerous cars were parked in the parking lot. Come to find out the owners were transplanted from the New York area. It was extremely difficult to understand them because their East Coast Accent was thick. The pizza was awesome & we enjoyed ourselves.

We were able to get the Infamous Grinch from Truman Ave in Owatonna, MN erected and let him check out the new digs. Let's just say he enjoyed the weather!

Also the Penguin had scoped out his area and claimed his squatting rights. He made a fabulous addition to our festive Christmas decor and the neighbors loved it!
We hope all of you had a very Merry Christmas and we miss you all!

P.S. Santa stopped by and dropped off a shiny new present!

I need your help! I am trying to win a contest and googling for the answer came up with your blog!

I need the name of a very small southern Minnesota town, population about 500, that the name is also slang for your...ummm...rear :-)

Its to win yarn. Now to you that may be no big deal....but to this knitter it is a huge deal :-)

If you can help me.....please leave it as a comment on my blog! Thanks!

Oh and Santa was AWESOME to you!

omigosh! I am stunned to see what Santa left! What the heck? Andrea, what an awesome bike you got for yourself! hehe! The Grinch looks too warm in that environment - he needs about 13" of snow surrounding him! Same thing with the penguin!

Pizza for your holiday meal doesn't sound so bad - we've had it for Christmas Eve as well!

Took the tree down yesterday - it has been up for a month and I'm tired of it. It's now outside by the birdfeeders giving our countless species some extra cover when those brittle north winds blow. Missed having you two next door!

Not much in store for New Year's. I'm on backup and duty for the night/day of that event... whoop de do... Talk to you next year!

WHAT? IT'S THE NEIGHBOR'S??? HALLELUIAH! Okie and I both rolled our eyes wondering how in the heck you'd ever ride that with YOUR back and that there would be no room on that little tiny back seat for DW! A vet? You bought a vet? sheesh! Way to go dude!
